Hungry anyone?
Don't these guys look ready for lunch? The chicks are fed by both parents. They eat about 35 to 40 meals a day - can you even imagine? They eat every 20 minutes or so from sunup to sundown. At least they don't expect night feedings too. It's no wonder they grow so fast and are ready to leave the nest within 2 weeks of hatching! The oldest one is now 6 days old.
