Beauty
of Your Love, O Lord
How strangely unfolds the
beauty of your love, O Lord.
From the bud of pain, fear,
and loneliness
You open to me, a flower
tipped with drops of dew
resting gently on its petals.
As the sun touches quietly
The shadows of morning
The spider web is
transformed from thin
invisibility into tangible
life-lines of purpose
even as you show me
new paths in my life.
I see you in the
mountain tops of life,
I call out to you in the
depths of the sea.
And yet-you come to me
in the
quietness of a friend who is there.
-You meet me where
I least expect you.
-You call to me softly,
and I answer.

Such a sweet, precious memory to find in her things.
